Volleyball Continues Winstreak with 3-0 Sweep

LEAVENWORTH, KAN. - The University of Saint Mary volleyball team secured a 3-0 victory over York in their home conference match on Saturday. The Spires took the first set 25-21, followed by a commanding 25-14 win in the second set, and closed out the sweep with a 25-21 win in the third set.

A 12-4 run early in the second set helped Saint Mary establish momentum, while a balanced kill attack led by Ainsley Gardner, Reagan Davis, and Madison Folsom kept York on the defensive end often. The Spires maintained close to a 30% kill percentage throughout the match.

Defensively, Gabby Kurle, Ivory Howat, and Macey Adams each tallied double-digit digs. With the win, Saint Mary improved to 12-7 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
