Bio

AJ Robbins was hired in July of 2024 as the Sports Information Director at The University of Saint Mary.

In his role, Robbins serves as the primary media contact for all 24 sports at USM. He handles all statistics, communications, website maintenance, social media, branding, creative content, and record keeping.

Prior to USM, Robbins spent his previous year as a Creative Content and Video Production Coordinator at Missouri Western State University. At MWSU, he was responsible for producing all creative content, video production, videoboard materials, marketing, social media, branding, and communication strategies. While at Missouri Western, his content reached larger audiences resulting in a 224% increase in engagements across 4 different platforms. He provided content coverage for the Griffons' 2 MIAA Championships (Tennis and Women's Basketball), 3 Individual MIAA Champions, and 2024 NCAA D2 Central Region Women's Basketball tournament run. 

Robbins also had a 6-month stint with Butler Community College where he was a Creative Content Intern. There he produced all creative content and videos for the Athletics social media and was responsible for the creative branding you see today. 

A Wichita, Kansas, native, Robbins received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas in 2019. “I’m really looking forward to helping the University of Saint Mary not only become a more prominent face in the NAIA, but also in our community.”
