
Spires Fall To McPherson
Leavenworth, Kan.- The University of Saint Mary baseball team came up short in game three to McPherson College Sunday afternoon, 22-4.
Saint Mary is now 1-12 overall and 1-2 in the KCAC.
The Spires struggled with pitching allowing the Bulldogs to put up four run in the first inning. McPherson took advantage of the Spires struggling to locate their pitches putting up ten runs in the 5th inning. The Spires were also unable to find their offense until the seventh inning when they put up four runs.
Steele Sadler led the offense with two hits and Peyton Garvin had a pair of RBIs.
