Bio

Bruce Peddie entered his first season as the head baseball coach in 2021 and will begin his fourth year in 2024. Peddie spent the 2019 and 2020 seasons as the assistant coach under Rob Miller.

Peddie got his start in coaching at his alma mater, Mansfield University in Mansfield, Penn. in 1989 as an assistant coach. He then went to Shippensburg University to serve as the head baseball coach in 1995, before becoming the associate head coach at the University of New Orleans in 2006.

In 2009, Peddie was promoted to head baseball coach at the University of New Orleans and served under that role until 2013, when he left for the University of Louisiana-Monroe to become the head coach. After his time at ULM, Peddie moved on to the University of Kansas in 2018, where he was the Director of Player Personnel.

"I am excited about having the opportunity to be a part of our student's education here at the University of Saint Mary," Peddie said. "It's going to be priority number one to help our players find balance in their lives. I want to help them help themselves through the fundamentals of baseball.
"The baseball field, and this program, will be another classroom here at the university and will be an opportunity to live up to our core values. I am ready to lead that charge. Coach Miller has left this program in a place where I believe it is ready to be successful."
