Saint Mary Dance Team Crowned KCAC Champions
LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – The University of Saint Mary Dance team has captured the 2024-2025 KCAC Conference Championship, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication throughout the competition. With the victory, the Spires claim their spot in the National Competition. This marks the first time in program history that the team has achieved this.
The Spires demonstrated consistent excellence, earning the top spot in both the preliminary and final rounds. In the preliminary competition, Saint Mary secured first place with a total score of 73.69, after deductions. The team continued their strong performance in the final round, achieving a score of 56.00, which, when combined with their prelim score, gave them a total score of 74.42 and first place overall.
The final standings for the KCAC Dance Championship are as follows:
