Offense Sparks in 5-1 Victory Over Bethany

LINDSBORG, KAN. - The University of Saint Mary men's soccer team delivered a commanding 5-1 win on the road against Bethany, driven by a strong offensive showing. The Spires set the tone early, with Romario Harding scoring just over a minute into the match. Huib Siefkes and Marco Vernazza added two more goals in the first half, giving Saint Mary a 3-0 lead before Bethany's Steven McQueen managed to pull one back late in the half.

In the second half, the Spires continued their aggressive play. Daniel Castro scored early to extend the lead to 4-1, and Isha Hughan capped off the scoring in the 59th minute. The Spires' dominant attack proved too much for Bethany, securing a decisive victory. With this win, Saint Mary improves to 7-5-1 overall and 5-3 in conference play.
