LEAVENWORTH, KAN. - The University of Saint Mary men's soccer team hosted Oklahoma Wesleyan in a challenging conference matchup, ultimately falling 3-1. The Eagles jumped out to an early lead, scoring just over three minutes into the game, and maintained control throughout.
Oklahoma Wesleyan added two more goals in the second half to extend their lead to 3-0. Despite the deficit, the Spires fought back, with freshman Rylan Nowak scoring an unassisted goal in the 87th minute to put Saint Mary on the board. However, the late effort was not enough to turn the tide.
