Men's Indoor Track & Field Open 2023-24 Season at Coach T Classic

Maryville, Mo.- The University of Saint Mary Men's Indoor Track and Field team opened the 2023-24 campaign on Saturday in the Coach T Classic hosted by Northwest Missouri State. 

Dominick Beine and Luis Perez had the two best finishes in the track events. Beine took first place in the 5000m event with a time of 14:47.48his time was also fast enough to reach the NAIA "A" standard; Ryan Heline finished shortly after Beine, running a 15:13.69 for a third-place finish. Perez took the top spot and reached an NAIA "A" standard in the 1000m event, with a time of 2:27.13. 

The 4x400m event team of Adrian Seeber, Robert Huebert, Jaylen Townes, and Wlices Ramos finished in third place with a time of 3:25.44. In the field events, Donel Jack was the third and final first-place finisher for Saint Mary. Jack took first place in the triple jump event with a mark of 13.92 meters.
