Bio

Dylan Biedron is in his 5th season as an Assistant Track & Field Coach for the Spires, coordinating the Sprints & Hurdles program. Prior to USM, Biedron spent five years as an assistant coach at Friends University in Wichita, Kan., working with the jumpers, throwers, and combined events athletes.

In nine years of coaching collegiate track & field, Biedron has assisted in the coaching and development of 3 National Champions, 1 National Champion Relay Team, 37 All-American performances, 117 National Qualifiers, 59 Individual Conference Champions, and 23 Conference Championship Teams. His men’s and women’s event groups have consistently ranked top-5 in the NAIA, including the #1 ranked women’s triple jump squad in 2018. Biedron was named the NAIA National Assistant Coach of the Year in 2022, the KCAC Women’s Assistant Coach of the Year in 2024, and is also a seven-time USTFCCCA Regional Assistant Coach of the Year.

Biedron is a USTFCCCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach and is also USATF Level I certified. Biedron was recently a part of the ALTIS Apprentice Coach Program in Atlanta, Ga., and has also completed ALTIS Coaching Education certificates in the Sprint Hurdles, Short Sprints, Horizontal Jumps, and High Jump.

Biedron graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Friends University in 2015 while competing for the track & field team, specializing in the Decathlon and jumping events. During his four years as a Falcon, he was named team captain, broke two school records, won two individual conference titles in the High Jump, and was a nine-time All-Conference performer. Biedron earned his Master’s Degree in Sport Administration from Arkansas State University in 2020.
