
Women's Basketball Falls 74-60 to Baker
Ottawa, Kan. – The University of Saint Mary women's basketball team finished the Heart Classic on Saturday, going 0-2. The Lady Spires fell to Baker University 74-60 Saturday afternoon in their final game of the Tournament.
GAME FLOW
After shooting over 47 percent from the field the night before, cold shooting by the Lady Spires put them down 24-1 at the end of the first quarter. Despite dominating in the paint out-scoring Baker 34-13, The University of Saint Mary was unable to come back. Paige Scheckel led in scoring with 26 points and had 6 rebounds.
