Women's Outdoor Track & Field Has Strong Showing at KU Relays

Lawrence, Kan.- The University of Saint Mary completed competition in the Kansas Relays on Friday and Saturday, resulting in multiple top-ten finishes.

 

Gretchen Raney took second place in the 200m event with a time of 24.45, which was fast enough for an NAIA "A" standard. Carissa Martin finished in the top 15 of the triple jump event, hitting a mark of 10.58 meters. The 4x100m relay team of Samantha Colson, Zaira Spencer, Lexi Wardlow, and Raney took fourth place with a time of 47.38, hitting an NAIA "A" standard as well.
