Leavenworth, Kan.- The University of Saint Mary eSports Team played multiple Overwatch 2 events, falling to Kansas Wesleyan 3-0 and beating Cottey College 3-0.

The Spires took on the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes on Monday this week, resulting in a 3-0 loss. Missing two key players, Saint Mary struggled to push back against the strong offense of the Coyotes. Evan Fuqua took over the role of point man for the Spires, wheedling damage to other players while letting his teammates run free to accomplish objectives. Saint Mary was not able to hold off the Kansas Wesleyan pace of play and dropped three straight matches. On Friday, the Spires ended the regular season against Cottey College, winning 3-0. Gavin Deal had a strong performance sealing two matches with multi-elimination plays.
