eSports Update 3/24/24

Kansas City, Mo.- The University of Saint Mary eSports team competed in two different games at the Roostlemania tournament hosted by UMKC this weekend, with Kirk Zielinski placing in the top 50 of SSB players while going 2-2 over the weekend.

After finishing the season a perfect 7-0, the Rocket League team will open play in round one of the National Esports Collegiate Conference playoffs at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Leavenworth, Kansas. Saint Mary was given the number one seed in the "West A" region and drew the number four seed Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology.

The Overwatch team will conclude their second round-robin season against Columbia College at 7 p.m. on Friday and against Kansas Wesleyan on Friday.
