Spires Can't Keep up With William Jewel

Liberty, Mo.- The University of Saint Mary Men's Swimming team traveled to compete against William Jewel College on Wednesday, resulting in a 164-41 loss. 

Luke Taylor and Blake Jorgens had the highest finishes for the Spires on the day. Taylor took second with a time of 9:10.80 in the 800-meter freestyle event. Jorgens finished in second with a time of 23.88 in the 50-meter freestyle event; he also took third in the 100-meter freestyle event, clocking a 53.53.

In one of the day's final events, the 400-meter freestyle relay team of Luke Denney, Daniel Wheatman, Jake Huisman, and Ian Lucas took second place with a time of 3:46.35.
