Coach Austin Hale will be entering his second season as head coach for Spires for the teams inaugural season in the Spring of 2023.  

Austin has been playing tennis from an early age and was fortunate to receive a scholarship to Missouri Baptist University and continue his playing career. As a Spartan, Hale was part of a 2016 team that won the conference championship and made a run in the NAIA national tournament. After graduating from Missouri Baptist in December 2018, Hale spent time coaching as an assistant at McKendree University and UMKC before returning to MBU. 

Hale has also coached at the high school level for Platte County HS and Westminster Christian Academy and the club level for the Kansas City Country Club and Vetta Racket Sports.
