Spires Record Perfect Score in Sunset Showdown

Leavenworth, Kan.- The University of Saint Mary Men's Cross Country team hosted multiple cross-country programs for the Spire Sunset Showdown on Friday. The Spires finished with a perfect score of 15 points on the day, with runners coming in first through eighth. 

 

Emad Bashir-Mohammed finished first for Saint Mary with a time of 24:12.43, which was 47 seconds faster than the next runner. Right behind Bashir-Mohammed for the Spires was Ryan Heline, who ran a 24:59.64 and took second place. The rest of the top five included Chris Metz (25:05.26), Dominick Beine (25:14.99), and Dawson Adams (25:15.13).
