Bashir-Mohammed Wins His Third POTW of the Season

Wichita, Kan.- On Monday, the conference office announced that Emad Bashir-Mohammed of the University of Saint Mary was named KCAC Cross Country Men's Runner of the Week. Bashir-Mohammed was selected for his performance on Oct. 21 by a vote of conference Sports Information Directors. Equity Bank presents all KCAC Player of the Week honors.

Bashir-Mohammed took home the individual title at the 2023 Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic, hosted by Doane University and the College of Saint Mary. He bested a field of over 280 competitors and helped the Spires earn a second-place finish as a team. Bahsir-Mohammed makes it his third KCAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week award of the year.
