Men’s Cross Country Wins 11th Consecutive KCAC Championship

Winfield, Kan.- The University of Saint Mary Men's Cross Country team traveled to compete in the KCAC Championships hosted by Southwestern College on Saturday. The Spires won their 11th consecutive and overall conference championship. 

 

Saint Mary recorded a perfect score after finishing with the top six fastest times of the meet. Emad Bashir-Mohammed finished first overall with a time of 

23:51.05 and won the individual KCAC championship. Chris Metz ran a 24:34.62 for a second-place finish right behind Bashir-Mohammed. Ryan Heline, Dominick Beine, Brig Merritt, and Kaden Cooley rounded out the Spires' top six finishers. Saint Mary finished with 15 team points.
