Bio

Cecilia is currently in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at the University of Saint Mary and will graduate in May 2016.

She graduated from Friend’s University in May 2013 with a B.S. in Health Science. While she was at Friend’s University she was a two-time NAIA All American in the Indoor 3000 meter and the 3000 meter steeplechase, and was an 11-time NAIA national qualifier, 6-time KCAC conference champion, 2012 women’s indoor KCAC Athlete of the year, and 15-time All-Conference Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Honoree.

Before attending Friend’s University she attended Cowley College where she was 8 times NJCAA All American and multiple Coaches Association All American while being National Runner up in the women’s outdoor 5k in 2010.

Cecilia currently resides in Lansing, Kansas with her husband Coach Benton and their dog Tempo.
