Reynolds Honored as KCAC Pitcher of the Week

Wichita, Kan.- Jordan Reynolds of the University of Saint Mary earned the KCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week honors, the conference office announced Monday. Reynolds was selected for her performances from March 6-12 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank. 

Reynolds pitched a complete-game shutout against Lourdes with four strikeouts and only four hits. She also pitched five scoreless innings to get the win over Keiser. Reynolds had another four strikeouts after throwing six innings with three hits against Cornerstone, earning another win. She had an earned run average was 0.00 over 18 and two-thirds innings pitched.

The Spires will begin KCAC play this weekend with a doubleheader against Bethany starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Lindsborg, Kansas.
