Pierce And Ringle Have Big Weekend at Eagle Open
Oklahoma City, Okla.- The Univeristy of Saint Mary Women's Swim team competed in the Eagle Invite this weekend, resulting in a seventh-place finish for the Spires.
The Spires broke two school records over the weekend, with Ayla Pierce breaking the 400-yard individual medley and Reagan Salsbury setting a new record in the 100-yard breaststroke. Pierce and Salsbury also hit NAIA qualifying times in six events at the Eagle Invite. Reagan Baird also qualified in four different events on the weekend, and Olivia Ringle hit the Spire's last qualifying time of the weekend in the 1650-yard freestyle event.
With their times from this weekend, Pierce and Ringle are now nationally ranked in five different events.
