Spires Win Second Straight in 4-3 Win Over Moval

Kansas City, Mo.- The University of Saint Mary Women's Tennis team hosted Missouri Valley College on Friday, resulting in a 4-3 win. The Spires are now 2-3 in team duals this Spring. 

Doubles

Saint Mary swept the doubles matches, winning all three. Tracy Llamas and Cortlyn Wolfe won their match 6-1. The other pairs, Shannon Finn/ Mia Rojas and Arsys Rojas/ Taimane Cajudoy, each beat their opponents 6-2. 

Singles 

Wolfe and Finn had two quick wins for the Spire, giving them a decisive 3-0 lead. However, three wins from the Vikings tied the dual at three points. Mia Rojas had the dual winning victory in her singles match, winning 6-3 and 6-1.
