Women's Wrestling Has Three Individual Champions at Falcon Invite

Park City, Kan.: The University of Saint Mary Women's Wrestling team competed in the Falcon Invite hosted by Friends University on Saturday, resulting in a second finish behind Ottawa University.

The Spires had three wrestlers win individual championships this weekend, including Alexsys Jacquez at 109, Alisha Van Scoy in the 130 class, and Lessley Sandoval in the 191 weight class. Saint Mary also had second, third, and fourth-place finishers for the team. This gave the Spires a final team score of 97.5 and a second-place finish. 

The Spires will compete on day one of the Missouri Valley Open on November 17 in Marshall, Missouri.
